Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers. It is diagnosed in 25% of cases of all cancer diagnoses in Poland. More and more often, it affects women active in their professional, family, and social lives.
In Poland, at least 2,500 women could be saved each year. Unfortunately, in many cases, the cause of death is a late diagnosis. Early detected, cancer is curable—this is why regular breast examination is so important, and should be performed by women themselves, as well as by their partners. Your knowledge of the correct movements is a recipe for a long and happy relationship. Remember, not every breast lump is cancer; nevertheless, every irregularity should be immediately reported to a doctor, who will advise proper tests. Bear in mind that you examine yourself not only to detect a lump, but also to make sure that it isn’t there.
